Marquette Woman Drops 50 Pounds

A Marquette woman needed less than six months to complete her quest to overcome a family history of obesity.

Lisa Alexander comes from a family that she describes as large or even obese.

She struggled with her own weight after her first baby was born, and with baby number two, Lisa says she was on her way to becoming obese.

She also had a number of health problems and knew she needed to make some changes.

Lisa used prepared foods from a company called Bistro MD and a lot of exercise to make those changes.

She says it wasn’t easy, but it has been a successful effort.

Lisa has slimmed down, losing 50 pounds, and she’s enjoying her new lifestyle.

Diet and exercise are only part of the equation.

She says it’s also important that she set a good example of a healthy lifestyle for her children.
