Marquette Twp. Fire Victim Identified
The woman who died in a fire in Marquette Township thursday morning has been identified.
Michigan State Police from the Negaunee Post say she is 37–year–old Amy Cook.
She died in a blaze at her mobile home on Moran Street that started shortly after 5 am yesterday.
The home was fully engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived.
After they brought it under control, firefighters found cook’s body inside the home.
State Police are still investigating the cause of the fire.
The Marquette County Medical Examiner’s office autopsied Cook’s body today at Marquette General.
