Marquette Township Marijuana Bust
The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team has made another drug bust in the Marquette area.
This one was on the 1300 block of Vandenboom Avenue in Marquette Township.
Last night, UPSET detectives seized more than 30 pounds of commercial-grade marijuana, more than $70,000 in cash as well as firearms and other drug sale paraphernalia.
The case was sent to the Marquette County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
UPSET got help from the Negaunee State Police Post and a Marquette Police K-9 unit.
