Marquette home invasion suspect enters guilty plea

MARQUETTE — A Marquette home invasion suspect has entered a plea agreement in circuit court.

Johnathan Roy, 25, of Marquette, pleaded guilty to one count of armed robbery Friday. Roy was originally charged with several counts, including armed robbery, torture, first-degree home invasion, unlawful imprisonment, and firearm possession in the commission of a felony, in relation to a home invasion incident in early July.

Roy has no sentencing date scheduled yet.

The other suspect in the case, Kyler Arrieta, 25, also of Marquette, will be sentenced March 6th after pleading guilty to armed robbery last week.
