Marquette General & Bell Hospital Team Up
Marquette General Health System and Bell Memorial Hospital are joining forces to make sure Harvey can still have health care providers on a continuous basis.
Bell recently closed its Harvey walk-in clinic.
MGH is offering health care services at its nearby Lakewood Medical Associates to replace it.
The 2 hospitals were discussing an agreement for the past few months to help move Bell’s Harvey clinic staff to its new Ishpeming complex while also maximizing local resources.
Both hospitals’ boards will meet in a few weeks to discuss the different opportunities the agreement will give the area.
