Marquette County Central Dispatch is experiencing phone service issues. Since late this morning, some 911 callers have been unable to hear the dispatcher they’re speaking to.

Central Dispatch is asking anyone who needs 911 service and experiences this problem to hang up and call 906-475-9912 instead. The call center will still receive the caller’s number, as well as the address if the call is made from a landline phone. A dispatcher will call back.

Central Dispatch says the problem is being worked on and they’ll restore full service as quickly as they can.
