Marquette City Commision Meeting
The Marquette City Commission met for a regular board meeting Monday night. The board did not have to make many trying decisions tonight.
But, a few proclamations were made by the board for the month of September. September has been deemed as United Way month. The proclamation stated that the mayor encourages residents of the city of Marquette to continue to support the United Way fundraising campaign.. and to help raise $425,000 to benefit marquette county residents throughout the year of 2013.
The month of September was also named national alcohol and drug recovery month.
