Marquette Beach Closed By E.Coli
A Marquette beach will re-open later this afternoon after high bacteria levels in the water closed it down.
North Beach is the beach between Fair Avenue and Hawley Street, north of the Picnic Rocks area.
It was closed on Friday after high levels of E.coli bacteria were found in the water.
North Beach will re-open at 4 pm today.
This comes just over a week after South Beach, near the Shiras Steam Plant, was closed for a day for the same reason.
