Marijuana suspect pleads not guilty to federal charges

MARQUETTE — A Manistique man facing federal marijuana charges appeared in U.S. District Court in Marquette this morning.

Thirty-seven-year old Jason Gregurash pleaded not guilty to three counts, including possession with intent to deliver over fifty marijuana plants – a felony which could result in up to twenty years in prison. Gregurash was arrested after allegedly delivering over fifteen pounds of marijuana destined for Wisconsin. UPSET detectives say over twenty pounds were seized in total along with 72 plants.

Gregurash is set to appear for an initial pretrial conference on March 29th. He’s tentatively set to go to trial in mid-May.
