CRYSTAL FALLS — An Iron River man is headed to jail for his role in a marijuana bust earlier this year.

Gerry Thibert, 54, received 21 days in jail with credit for two days served, plus court fines and costs on three amended counts of possession of marijuana.

The Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team arrested Thibert during a traffic stop back in April.

UPSET detectives found five pounds of processed marijuana in the vehicle Thibert was driving.
