Marijuana Bust in Northern WI

Police in Florence County, Wisconsin are asking for your help in making arrests in a marijuana grow operation.

It was found on remote forestland in Homestead, Wisconsin after an anonymous tip.

The plants have a street value of close to $100,000.

Police say it was a fairly sophisticated operation that used a local creek as a water supply.

They set up surveillance cameras in the area.

They’ve caught two suspects on tape but haven’t been able to identify them.

And Negaunee police are asking for help in a home invasion investigation.

They say it happened on or around September 1st at a home in the Sunset Drive area.

Two Negaunee residents have already been arrested.

24-year-old Brandon Manninen and 18-year-old Tina Nylander were arrested Tuesday.

They’re charged with receiving and concealing stolen property.

The charge carries a penalty of a year in prison and fines of $2,000 or more.
