STANDISH — A case involving a Marquette man charged with various counts related to waterfowl and charter operation violations came to a close this week.

30-year old Terry Wilson pleaded guilty to two counts of transporting and possession of a loaded firearm and an attempt to charter a boat without a license in downstate Arenac County on Monday.

He received over thirteen hundred dollars in fines, along with community service. He also had his hunting and trapping license revoked.

Wilson received twenty-four months probation after pleading guilty to 5 counts in Mackinac County earlier this month.

He was charged after an investigation conducted by DNR conservation officers into allegations of illegal waterfowl hunting and guiding.
