Manistique Twp. Search for Missing Hunter
Several law enforcement agencies are searching for a missing hunter in Manistique Township tonight.
The Schoolcraft County Sheriff’s Department says the hunter went missing at about 3 this afternoon somewhere between North Cals Drive and the North Hiawatha Truck Trail.
DNR conservation officers, a Michigan State Police K-9 unit from the St. Ignace post and two deputies are involved in the search.
The sheriff’s department says they’re getting close and the hunter will likely be found before 7:30 tonight.
