Man sentenced to maximum 20 years in prison on meth charge

A co-defendant in a Munising meth lab case will spend up to 20 years in prison.

Fred Hunt IV, 44, was sentenced in Alger County Circuit Court to a minimum of 30 months with a maximum of 20 years after pleading guilty to one count of possession of meth.  He was sentenced as a habitual offender, fourth offense.

Hunt and three other Munising residents were arrested this winter after police found a meth lab and meth components at a home on Superior Street in Munising.
