ESCANABA — A man originally charged with two felony drug counts has been sentenced to probation.
Twenty-two year old Marvin Mercier of Escanaba was sentenced to 18 months probation Wednesday in Delta County Circuit Court. He was given credit for time served.
Mercier was arrested by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team back in September. He was charged with delivery of cocaine, less than 50 grams and possession of a schedule 1, 2, or 3 controlled substance.
Mercier pleaded guilty to possession of a schedule 1, 2, or 3 controlled substance in January.
