ESCANABA — An Escanaba man charged with operating and maintaining a meth lab is headed to prison.

Fifty–two year old Robert Jones will spend the next 10 to 20 years with the Michigan Department of Corrections.

He pleaded guilty to one count of operating, maintaining a meth lab last month.

Jones was one three people arrested by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team in March at an Escanaba residence on North 16th Street.

He was given credit for 125 days already served in jail.

The other two defendants arrested with Jones– 21–year–old Marissa Tallberg and 31–year–old Alice Revis, each received three months in jail.
