Man sentenced in drug case

ESCANABA — A Gladstone man will spend at least the next 16 months with the Michigan Department of Corrections after entering a guilty plea.

Twenty seven year-old Lewis Harris was sentenced to one year and four months to seven years in prison today in Delta County Circuit Court. Harris was one of three people arrested by UPSET Detectives in September for delivery of prescription pills.

He pleaded guilty in November to one count of delivery and/or manufacture of a controlled substance.
