MARQUETTE — A Gwinn man was sentenced today in Circuit Court.
Thirty–nine–year old Eric Brown was sentenced today in Marquette County Circuit Court and received a jail sentence of six months.
As a part of his plea agreement Brown a habitual offender charge was dropped, but it was because of his history that he was sentenced jail time.
Last month Brown pleaded guilty to three counts of attempted use of a financial transaction device. He was taken into custody in November on a three count warrant after an investigation into a stolen credit card being used at several local businesses.
