An Escanaba man opted to pled guilty on an embezzlement charge in Marquette County Circuit Court.

Timothy Bray, 28, is facing one count of financial transaction device–stealing/retaining without consent.  He originally pled not guilty to that same charge at his arraignment earlier this month.

Police say Bray’s former employer reported that the business had incurred financial losses, and an investigation revealed Bray allegedly was making unauthorized purchases on the business credit card accounts.

Bray was arrested after a traffic stop in Delta County in January.

He will be sentenced March 28.
