Man pleads guilty in Chippewa County B&E’s
A Chippewa County man involved in breaking and enterings will not be going to trial.
Victor McMillan of Trout Lake Township was scheduled to go to trial December 4 in Chippewa County Circuit Court. Instead, McMillan pled guilty to receiving and concealing stolen property, between $1,000 and $20,0000.
Other charges of home invasion and possession of marijuana were dropped.
McMillan and his son, Joshua, were arrested in June after authorities found several items at the McMillan’s home that had be reported missing. Joshua is serving a year in jail for home invasion.
Victor will be sentenced in February.
