Man headed to jail on embezzlement charges
IRON MOUNTAIN — A Dickinson County man charged with embezzling money from a local gas station is headed to jail.
Twenty-eight year old Jason Piatti received a 30-day jail sentence plus fines and costs after pleading no contest on two counts of embezzlement less than $200.
Piatti was arrested by the Iron Mountain Police Department back in April after they received an embezzling complaint from Krist Oil Company.
He was originally charged with ten counts of embezzlement.
Piatti entered a plea agreement in May on just two of those charges.
