ONTONAGON — A Gwinn man facing drug charges in Ontonagon Circuit Court received his verdict today.
31–year–old Steven Paul Thompson was initially charged with Delivery or Manufacture of a Controlled Substance, in this case, Bath Salts. After a two–day trial, a jury found him guilty.
The charge is a seven–year felony, but Thompson has a habitual offender status attached to the case. This is his fourth offense, so his sentence may be longer.
No sentencing date has yet been set.
