Man in court on attempted B&E charge
A Manistique man facing felony charges in connection with the attempted break-in of a Marquette business was in Marquette County Circuit Court Wednesday.
John Rachel, 28, was arraigned on one charge of attempted breaking and entering a building with intent.
Police say Rachel attempted to break into the Gold and Silver Exchange on Third Street October 13.
The owner of the business was driving by and saw Rachel outside acting suspiciously.
Police say Rachel damaged the front door.
He will be sentenced November 27.
