Man cited in two car accident
Two people suffered minor injuries following a two-car accident in Marquette Township Tuesday morning.
Logan Love, 17, of Marquette was traveling south through the Commerce Drive and U.S. 41 intersection when her 2008 Jeep Liberty was hit by 2014 Toyota Tacoma driven by 25-year-old Robert Johnson of Negaunee.
The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department says Johnson was traveling east on U.S. 41 when he failed to stop for a red light.
Love and Johnson were transported to Marquette General Hospital by Marquette General EMS for minor injuries and were later released.
Johnson was cited for Disregarding a Red Light.
The Marquette City Police Department, Michigan State Police, and Marquette Township Fire and Rescue assisted at the scene.
