Man charged for alleged waterfowl and charter operation violations

STANDISH — A Marquette man has been arraigned in two counties on a total of 26 charges related to alleged waterfowl and charter operation violations.

Michigan DNR conservation officers say 30-year-old Terry Wilson of Marquette is facing charges in Arenac and Mackinac Counties. The charges range from operating an unlicensed and un-inspected charter boat to hunting waterfowl from a boat under power and exceeding waterfowl bag limits. If convicted on all charges, Wilson could face a maximum punishment of over 20 thousand dollars, hunting license revocation, one year in jail, and condemnation of the boat.

Wilson is scheduled to appear for pretrial hearings in Mackinac County on March 9th and in Arenac County on March 21st.
