Two men have cases bound over to circuit court

ESCANABA — A Delta County man charged with felonious assault with a dangerous weapon as well as discharging a firearm in or at a building is headed to circuit court.

Back on February 2nd, 40–year–old Mason Bajanen was arrested after police responded to a domestic situation on the 1100 block of Sheridan Road in Escanaba.

Bajanen is lodged in the Delta County Jail on a $200,000 bond. He is scheduled to appear in circuit court for his arraignment on February 25th.

Another man was also bound over to Delta County Circuit Court.

Thirty-four year old Christopher Johnson of Rapid River is charged with one count of operating or maintaining a meth lab and one count of assaulting, resisting, or obstructing a police officer. He is also charged with conspiracy to commit the delivery or manufacture of methamphetamine.
