Man agrees to plea deal involving meth case

ESCANABA — A man who was arrested by police last year for maintaining a meth lab in an apartment pleaded no contest in Delta County Circuit.

Thirty–nine year old James Davidson of Escanaba entered a no contest plea to the charge of operating and maintaining a meth lab. Three other charges against Davidson were dropped as part of the plea agreement.

Davidson was one of four people arrested in August by Escanaba Public Safety, after police found an active meth lab at an apartment just across the street from the police station.
