Man accused of damaging MSP building in court
A man accused of damaging Michigan State Police property had a pretrial conference in Marquette County Circuit Court.
Austin Ritchie, 20, is charged with two counts of malicious destruction of fire or police property.
He is accused of causing more than $4,000 worth of damage at the Michigan State Police Forensic Lab in Marquette.
Ritchie is also accused of damaging a vehicle from the Michigan State Police 8th District Headquarters.
He was identified and arrested in October with the help of residents who recognized him on a surveillance video from a store.
