Mackinac County man pleads guilty to 3rd OWI
A man involved in a high-speed chase through Mackinac County pled guilty to his 3rd OWI charge in Mackinac County Circuit Court this afternoon.
37-year-old Robert Frey of Engadine will be sentenced for his 3rd OWI charge on November 21st. Frey was arrested earlier this month for allegedly “fleeing and eluding police,” and “operating an ATV under the influence of alcohol.”
Michigan State Police Troopers say Frey was driving on both sides of U.S. 2 in Gould City as officers chased him through Engadine. At one point, Frey even veered into a patrol car, causing minor damage.
