Local hospital offers flu shot clinics

ISHPEMING — Fall is on its way, and hand-in-hand with the dropping temperatures and the changing leaves comes flu season.

UP Health System – Bell in Ishpeming will be holding flu shot clinics on October 4th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and October 6th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the hospital’s Medical Office Building Conference Room. The shot costs $30. Officials say the clinics will be without long lines and hassle-free.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention recommend an annual flu shot for everyone six months or older.
