Local Honored at White House
An Upper Michigan entrepreneur just got back from a meeting at the white house.
He was in Washington D.C. to be honored with other businesses that are creating jobs and products in the United States.
The creator of Marquette Back Country Skis came up with a unique idea: a cross–between snowshoes and skis.
He was recognized for his unique product but also for where is product is made: right here in the good old U–S of A.
Marquette Back Country Skis are manufactured in Cold Water Michigan, and are available at a handful of Upper Michigan outdoor gear retailers.
