Local Gas Station Closes
There’s no word on when a gas station in the city of Marquette that recently closed will re–open.
The Citgo gas station and convenience store on Lincoln Avenue in Marquette closed several weeks ago.
The gas pumps have been shut off, and the curbside sign has gone dark.
The pay phone that used to be outside the store has been removed.
A sign in the store’s window says it will be re–built.
But there’s no indication of when, or if, that might happen.
The owners, Krist Oil of Iron River, have not replied to our request for comment.
