Local bar suffers smoke and water damage
GLADSTONE — Gibby’s Bar in Gladstone had a minor fire yesterday.
Officers from the Gladstone Public Safety Department say they and Escanaba Township Volunteer Fire Fighters were dispatched to a report of smoke in Gibby’s Bar around 1:30 p.m.
A fire was detected in the area of the cooler.
The fire was extinguished quickly and the bar suffered smoke and water damage.
The cause of the fire is undetermined at this time.
