LANSING — A new month is ushering in new licenses for a popular activity.

The DNR is reminding anglers that the 2016 license season beings Friday, April 1st. There are five choices of licenses, all of which are good for all species. If you’re thinking about Lake Sturgeon or Muskellunge, free fishing and harvest tags are needed in addition to the license.

Prices are as followed:
Resident Annual – $26
Non-Resident Annual – $68
Senior Annual – $11
24-Hour – $10
72-Hour – $30

The revenue from the license sales help improve fish habitats and increase the health and quantity of the fish.
