Leshoure Lost for the Season
Lions running back Mikel Leshoure has been lost for the entire 2011 season due to injury.
Leshoure ruptured his Achilles tendon during the Tuesday morning practice.
The rookie running back out of the University of Illinois, was a 2nd round draft pick for the Lions in this past April\’s draft.
Leshoure is the third Lions draftee to be injured during training camp.
Defensive end Nick Fairley has been lost for 3-4 weeks due to a foot injury, and Wide receiver Titus Young has been sidelined due to a hamstring injury.
