Korean War Veterans wanted for U.P. Honor Flight

The Upper Peninsula Honor Flight will now be accepting applications from Korean War Veterans.

Upper Peninsula Honor Flight transports Upper Peninsula’s war veterans to Washington D.C. to visit the national memorials that stand in honor of their service and sacrifice. To date, more than 300 World War II veterans from the Upper Peninsula have been on an Honor Flight trip. Upper Peninsula Honor Flight is now preparing to transition its program to honor the service of the Korean War era veterans.  Applications are now being accepted and can be found at www.upperpeninsulahonorflight.org

First priority will be given to WWII veterans.  Upper Peninsula Honor Flight is a 501(c)-3 volunteer organization dedicated to honoring Michigan’s Upper Peninsula war veterans.
