Kingsford men arrested for robbing Green Bay Jimmy John’s driver

Two Kingsford men have been arrested for an armed robbery in Green Bay.

Their names aren’t available at this point, but the Green Bay Police Department says they are a 20-year-old white male and a 23-year-old white male.

A Jimmy John’s delivery driver called police just before 9:30 CDT Monday night. He said that while trying to deliver sandwiches to a building, he was told to go to a side door. While he was walking there, he was hit over the head with a club or a similar object. The attacker then ran from the area. The driver reported pain and non-life-threatening injuries.

A canine unit found the 20-year-old man in a wooded area that the driver saw his attacker run into. The dog bit the suspect on his right arm, giving him minor injuries. Police arrested him for armed robbery and battery.

Officers also say they found two other people in the area that were associated with the robbery suspect. The 23-year-old man was one of them. He’s charged with being a party to armed robbery and receiving stolen property.

The other person is an underage girl, and police won’t release any information about her because she’s a juvenile. The investigation is ongoing.
