Kingsford man pleads guilty to human trafficking charge

IRON MOUNTAIN — A Kingsford man accused of human trafficking has pleaded guilty in Dickinson County Circuit Court.

Johnathan Vyvyan, 23, admitted to two charges: attempted human trafficking/force labor and failure to comply with the sexual offender registry act.  One charge of prostitution of a female was dropped.

Vyvyan was scheduled for a four-day trial in Circuit Court, but due to his guilty plea he will now be sentenced December 2.

He was arrested in May after an eight month-long investigation.
