Kingsford man charged with prostitution re-arraigned

A Kingsford man who originally faced three prostitution related charges was re-arraigned Wednesday morning in Dickinson County District Court.

Johnathan Vyvyan, 23, is now charged with human trafficking–forced labor of a minor/committing a sex act/serious injury.  That charge will be added to one count prostitution of a female and one count of sex offender–failure to comply with Sex Offender Registration Act.

Police arrested Vyvyan May 7 after an eight month investigation.

He is lodged in the Dickinson County Correctional Facility on a $50,000 cash surety bond.

Vyvyan will be back in court May 27 for a preliminary exam.
