Jasper has been found!
CLARIFICATION: ABC 10 has learned since the original posting of the story below at 4:10 p.m., that Jasper has been LOCATED near the Fit Strip in Marquette…he has not yet been caught.

The search is over and there is cause for celebration….as the dog missing for almost a week has been located.
This one and a half year old Berneise Mountain Dog named Jasper went missing the evening of July 4th. His owner launched an all-out media blitz to find him.
Dozens of sightings were reported by strangers and friends who kept a watchful out for the missing 90 pound dog. Between Facebook, twitter, missing dog posters put up around town — and a few broadcast news stories on ABC 10 – the mission was successful.
Katie Griffen found jasper about 3:30 this afternoon.
After nearly six days on the run, Jasper is probably ready for some relaxation!
