Jail Escapee Captured Again
The woman who escaped from the Ontonagon County Jail last week is back in custody tonight.
25–year–old Elisha Greiser of Ontonagon escaped from the jail last Thursday night.
The county Sheriff’s Department says they received a tip Friday evening that a woman looking like her had been reported seen.
Deputies found her shortly after 9 that night and returned her to jail.
Greiser is charged with escaping lawful custody and use of marijuana.
She was originally in jail on two warrants for failure to appear.
Police also arrested an 18–year–old Ontonagon man for harboring an escapee and use of marijuana.
Greiser and her companion are both in the county jail on $100,000 bond.
