Ishpeming roundabout open house scheduled
The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) and the city of Ishpeming will have an open house to discuss the planned 2016 construction of a roundabout on US-41 at 2nd Street in Ishpeming. Presentations will be made at 4:30 and 7 p.m.
MDOT and city representatives will be available to answer questions about the project.
MDOT plans to build a roundabout in 2016 at the intersection of US-41 and 2nd Street in Ishpeming. MDOT says the roundabout will improve traffic flow and safety at the intersection.
The open house will be held Tuesday, July 16, 4-8 p.m. at the Ishpeming Senior Center (320 S. Pine St.)
