Ishpeming man arrested on cocaine charges
Authorities have released the name of the man arrested Tuesday night in Marquette County on cocaine charges.
19–year–old Jordan David LaChapell was arrested after a search warrant was executed by the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team at his home in Ishpeming. UPSET recovered more than an ounce of cocaine and $1,800 in cash.
LaChapell was arraigned in Marquette County District Court Thursday. He is charged with one count of controlled substance delivery – manufacture of cocaine under 50 grams.
LaChapell’s next court date is set for May 21st in 96th District Court in Ishpeming.
