An Ishpeming home was busted for meth last night for the second time in the past five months.

Ishpeming Police and UPSET detectives were seen wearing hazardous waste suits around 6:00 p.m. as they removed toxic chemicals used to make meth from a residence at 429 East High Street. It happens to be the same house that was raided on February 12th for a possible meth lab. That case landed 27-year-old Branden Holm in prison for five to twenty years for operating and maintaining a meth lab.

Although it’s the same home, police say it is a group of different tenants, three of whom are now in police custody. Their charges are still pending as the Marquette County Prosecutor reviews the file. Their names are being withheld until after their arraignment.

The Ishpeming Fire Department and Negaunee Police assisted on scene.
