Ishpeming Girls Fast Pitch Pancake Breakfast
The Ishpeming Girls Fast Pitch Softball Team is hosting a special pancake fundraiser at Perkins Restaurant in Marquette this Saturday, April 20th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The team will be serving up pancake meals for the public in an effort to raise funds for team expenses. All tips will go to the girls and Perkins will donate 25% of sales to the team.
The 16 member self-funded Ishpeming Girls Fast Pitch Softball Team is in their first season. Because they are self-funded they need to cover their expenses which includes travel and equipment.
The Great Lakes Radio staff will join the fundraiser with a live broadcast and updates throughout the day. 98.3 WRUP, the Home of Hematite Sports, will broadcast 8 more games this season with live cut-ins on WRUP and can be heard on-line at wrup.com.
Help the Hematites and have some delicious pancakes this Saturday, April 20th, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Perkins Restaurant at 2383 US 41 in Marquette.
