Ironwood home invasion suspect arraigned

BESSEMER — The Minnesota man arrested in Ironwood for breaking and entering has been arraigned in 98th District Court in Gogebic County.

Dustin German, 23, of Montevideo, Minn., is charged with breaking and entering a building with intent. He was arrested on two other charges, resisting police and possession of a controlled substance, but the prosecutor would not authorize those counts for arraignment.

German will now have a probable cause conference January 21st. His preliminary hearing will be January 28th.

German was arrested Monday morning after breaking into a home in the City of Ironwood. Michigan State Police from the Wakefield Post assisted Ironwood Public Safety officers in tracking him down.

They spotted German a short distance from the scene and he fled between some houses. Officers located German hiding under a tree after following his footprints in the snow.
