Two Iron River residents will serve time in jail and on probation for a June 2013 home invasion.
Brittany Marvin, 23, will spend four months in the Iron County Jail. She’ll also have to complete two years of probation. Marvin pleaded guilty in May to larceny in a building. Prosecutors dropped a second-degree home invasion charge in exchange for the guilty plea.
Her co-defendant, Jordan Luckey, 23, has been sentenced to 12 months in jail. Six of those months will have to be served immediately. Luckey will also spend three years on probation.
He had been charged with 15 counts, four of them felonies, from various arrests. All of the arrests, including the home invasion arrest, were being handled as part of the same case. One of Luckey’s felony charges was escaping jail through violence. Luckey ran away from a sheriff’s deputy in June 2013 while being taken from jail to Northstar Health System for medical treatment.
