An Iron River man will return to court February 18 on several charges coming from an alleged road rage incident earlier this week.

Donald Rymkos, 67, is charged with fourth–degree fleeing and eluding, which is a felony.  He is also accused of two misdemeanor charges: driving without insurance and driving with a suspended license.

An Iron County Sheriff’s deputy tried to stop Rymkos’s vehicle on U.S. 2 in Iron River Monday afternoon after reportedly seeing signs of road rage.  Police say he did not stop.

The pursuit continued for about 13 miles before Michigan State Police from the Iron Mountain Post used stop sticks in Crystal Falls Township.

Rymkos is being held in the Iron County Jail.
