Iron Mountain man facing four charges after allegedly breaking into vehicles

The 20-year-old Iron Mountain man who allegedly damaged three vehicles over the weekend is facing a number of charges after his arraignment earlier today.

Michael Burdick is charged with “carrying a concealed weapon,” “breaking and entering a vehicle with damage to the vehicle,” “larceny in a building,” and two counts of “malicious destruction of personal property between $200 and $1,000.”

Police say Burdick damaged a vehicle at a residence on 4th Street and two vehicles at Rudy’s Body Shop in Iron Mountain Sunday night.

He will appear in court next week for a preliminary exam.
