Iron County Pickup Truck Crash
An Iron County woman is recovering at Marquette General Health System after a pickup truck crash.
The Iron County Sheriff’s Department says it happened shortly before 8:30 Central time last night in Mastodon Township.
A 41–year–old woman from Crystal Falls was driving on county road 424, near Indian Lake Drive.
Police say she lost control of her truck on a curve and hit a tree.
The impact threw her from the truck, which then burst into flames.
The woman was taken to Northstar Health System in Iron River with serious injuries and was later transferred to Marquette General.
There’s no word on her name or on how she’s doing.
The accident remains under investigation.
